Catherine Heath
Catherine Heath (17 November 1924 – 27 October 1991) was a British novelist. An obituary in ''The Daily Telegraph'' called her work "gentle and witty, full of cool observations about human behaviour." Biography Heath was born Catherine Hirsch in Hendon, Middlesex, the daughter of Dutch immigrants Samuel and Anna de Boer Hirsch. She was educated at Henda County School then St Hilda's College, Oxford, where she studied English under Helen Gardner (critic), Helen Gardner. In 1948, she married Denis Heath; they were divorced in 1980. Also in 1948, she became an assistant lecturer in the University of Wales. Her novels ''stone Walls'' and ''The Vulture'' received positive reviews from critics. Douglas Hodge is an English actor, director, and musician who has had an extensive career in theatre, as well as television and film where he has appeared in ''Robin Hood'' (2010), '' Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return'' and '' Diana'' (2013), ''Penny Dreadful'' (2016), ''Catastrophe'' (2018), '' Joker'' and ''Lost in Space'' (2019), '' The Great'' (2021), Early life When he was very young, his family moved to Wigmore, Gillingham, Kent. British Academy Television Awards
The BAFTA TV Awards, or British Academy Television Awards are presented in an annual award show hosted by the BAFTA. They have been awarded annually since 1955. Background The first-ever Awards, given in 1955, consisted of six categories. Until 1958, they were awarded by the Guild of Television Producers and Directors. From 1958 onwards, after the Guild had merged with the British Film Academy, the organisation was known as the Society of Film and Television Arts. In 1976, this became the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. From 1968 until 1997, the BAFTA Film and Television awards were presented in one joint ceremony known simply as the BAFTA Awards, but in order to streamline the ceremonies from 1998 onwards they were split in two. Gwen Watford
Gwendoline Watford (10 September 1927 – 6 February 1994), professionally known after the mid-1950s as Gwen Watford, was an English actress. Watford's talent was spotted by John Gielgud while she was still a schoolgirl, and with his help she made her professional London debut in 1945. From then until her death she pursued a parallel career on stage and on television. Hugh Anthony Quarshie (born 22 December 1954) is a Ghanaian-born British actor.
